Purpose of processing: For marketing about exhibitions and art events that I partake in and for my accounts.

Under the GDPR I am required to have a lawful basis for processing somebody else’s personal information.

I am required to obtain your consent before sending you marketing via email or post for exhibitions and art events that I partake in. There will always be an option for you to withdraw your consent and unsubscribe from my mailing list each time that I send information out to you. This can also be done at any time via the contact details above.
How to unsubscribe: Just reply to an email or send an email with the word UNSUBSCRIBE. Once I receive your notification to unsubscribe, I will delete your details from my mailing list.

Should you purchase one of my works of art, I will be required to fill out an invoice with your name and postal address on which you will be given a copy of when you buy a work(s). I have a legal obligation with HMRC to provide proof of sales for my accounts and will keep this for the length of time I am required to keep accounts for by HMRC after which the invoice will be shredded.

At the time of sale, I will ask you if you would like to join my mailing list for future exhibitions and art events that I partake in and if you freely give your consent, your email and / or postal address will be separately added to my mailing list. You will have the same options to withdraw consent at any time and procedures for deleting of your personal information will also be the same as outlined above.

In all cases, I will not at any point pass any of your information to a third party. All information will be held securely.

You have the right to complain about how your personal data is handled. If you wish to do so, please contact the ICO. Their website has further information about your rights under the GDPR. In the unlikely event of a data breach, I would notify you and seek the advice of the ICO.

I will regularly review and where necessary update my privacy information. If I plan to use personal data for a new purpose I will update my privacy information and communicate the changes to you before starting any new processing.
